You’ve created a Pinterest closet…and you still don’t have anything to wear.
It’s ok. You’re not alone.
I’m Rachael Painter, the owner of Spirit Love. I have been styling women for 5 years, and helping women dress for their body shape, and boosting their confidence. It started when I sold jewelry. Who knew that I’d need to help them pick out outfits?!
My top priority is to make you feel comfortable and beautiful, helping you highlight your best features by teaching you how to shop for your body type and skin tone. You see, we not only sell high quality clothes, but we style women for any type of event that’s important to them- from speaking engagements and weddings to a dinner date or concert.
I’m not here to sell you another shirt (per se). I inspire you to be a better woman – mom, wife, business woman, whatever your title is – and help you pick out clothes that will help YOU stand out. Through the countless women I’ve have worked with, I’ve discovered that when a woman feels good about herself, her self worth translates to her family, and to the community. I constantly strive to help you look and feel the best, inside and out. I will help you create a wardrobe that will boost your confidence!
For many women, shopping for clothing is overwhelming and frustrating. Sometimes considered a necessary evil. I have created a space (even if it’s in someone’s home) where a woman feels comfortable, and can find some (LOTS in some cases) outfits that are flattering, and she feels good in. Years before Spirit Love was on my radar, I said, “I wish there was a store for hard to fit women.” Perhaps you can relate: shopping can be HARD, and FRUSTRATING. I HATED shopping. Nothing ever fit. I understand that each woman is shaped differently, so I hunt high and low for the perfect pieces that will be flattering for all. I have heard SO many times, “I’m sure you don’t have anything that will fit me.” And I can say with confidence, “Yes I do!!” Then she becomes my best customer.
Spirit Love is more than just a store. We have gifted special occasion outfits to nominated women, and supported multiple organizations and charities. This past year we bought shirts from an organization in Denver, who sustainable work to teach homeless and at-risk youth a trade, giving them a future other than a life on the streets. Together, we were able to raise $24,000! Our customer’s got the chance to be part of something bigger, and we are constantly in search of other social justice movements to take part in, with a few collaborations in the works.
If you need reinventing your wardrobe, and pairing down the items…reworking your existing clothes: I’m your woman! Unlike popular TV shows (I don’t need ratings), I’m not harsh with my words. Every woman is different, and your needs are different from any other woman on the planet. I’ll tailor a look to your tastes and comfort level.
If you’re ready for a good ol’ fashioned girls night out (minus the spiel), we’ll bring the party to you, and set up shop in your driveway or living room.
Spirit Love was started in 2009 as a mom selling jewelry through home parties. I had people asking “where do I find ____?” One thing lead to another, and soon we started carrying more accessories rather than just jewelry.
Partly joking, and partly serious, I posted a picture of a fashion truck on Facebook. It was a lofty goal at the time. Our customers and fans LOVED the idea, and spurred us on in our pursuit of a fashion truck!
Spirit Love has been a mobile boutique for five years. We have morphed with time from selling jewelry to pulling racks of clothes from our trunk, like a Mary Poppins Purse, to sell from tents at festivals and make-shift shops in homes. With Spirit Love experiencing positive growth each of those years, we took a leap and purchased a mid-century Airstream in great condition at the end of 2014.
– I lived in Haiti for a bit doing relief and development work. I loved it there!
– I speak French (though not as fluently as I once did)
– I’m not a fan of the snow, and I don’t know how to ski. (Super sad for being an almost native of Colorado.)
– I homeschool my kids. I was homeschooled as well.
– I have been to every state west of the Mississippi, in the continental US.
– I’m an extreme Jack of all trades. My random abilities can pop up at any time.
– I don’t like cooking (but I’m pretty darn good at it).
